Hey everyone! This reteach is really strong for multiplication and division. If you are struggling, please take the time to read this, take notes, and do the practice! Any completed practice will result in replacing the practice grades from previous homework. Remember to thank veterans and all military personnel!
Tonight's homework comes from Think Through Math. Your log in information is the same as your school login and your password is your lunch number! I will check tomorrow morning at 8:15 to see if you did your homework!
If you are still struggling with the exponents and powers of ten......remember this!
Powers of ten!
1. Count the zeroes in your powers of ten (ex: 10 has 1 zero, 100 has two zeroes, etc.)
2. Move the decimals as many places as you counted in number 1!
If it is multiplication, the decimal moves RIGHT because it's getting bigger!
If it is division, the decimal moves LEFT because it's getting smaller
